Wildlife Photography Tour: Great-Horned Owls
Set in the Eucalyptus groves of the Oakland Hills, this tour offers a detailed look at the daily behaviors of a small family of Great-Horned Owls, and is a great opportunity for close encounters. Located in a birding hot spot, you will also have a chance to see many other types of birds including juvenile and adult Red-Tailed Hawks, Spotted Towhees, Anna's Hummingbirds, Dark-Eyed Juncos, Northern Flickers and dozens of other species. This location is quick and easy to access but will require moderate hiking and appropriate outdoor attire. The tour is 3 hours long and will start 2 hours before sunset. Available for a limited time only.
